What does the WORD token for shape descriptor do?
« on: May 08, 2009, 06:29:37 am »

Some of the shape definitions in descriptor_shape_standard.txt have a WORD token.  I'm guessing that it lets shapes be favored or excluded via SELECT_SYMBOL and CULL_SYMBOL, but that's just a guess.

Hm.  Your theory makes more sense than mine does.  I just assumed that it allowed the decoration to get translated to dwarven or whatever, but never saw it happen.

Unless somebody speaks up about it, I don't think anybody but Toady and ThreeToe really know for sure.  It's not something commonly messed with.
