Human Chunks in mah Refuse Pile
« on: May 02, 2009, 08:25:59 am »

Awhile back one of my miners was interrupted by an Alligator; i later noticed the Alligator was dead.
Later again, i noticed there were a bunch of Human Chunks in my refuse pile (i'm playing Humies). I'm thinking "What? None of my guys are dead..."

And now i've found that my miner has a broken upper body, left upper arm and right lower leg, and a mangled lower body, and is apparantly the source of the chunks. I guess he got into a fight with the alligator who ripped chunks out of him before he killed it with his pick, and them presumably toppled over and was dragged to bed.

I didn't even know you could rip chunks out of things and have them still be alive, although on second thought there was that Batman with his entire lower body ripped off the other day, so i probably shouldn't be surprised.

Oh, chunks aren't even full organs.  They're just small pieces.

Just so I remember

its likely the chunks were in the alligators mouth, and fell out when the alligator rotted, or there still in it.

or, does it only work like that in adventure mode?

love, jakkarra

The Kobolds just nicked the pile of 45 arrows i made out of the Alligator bones. Excuse me while i go devise something horrible to do to the little buggers.

Oh, and yet another year has passed with no Migrants, i think they're broken, since the Humie caravan turned up as expected. Hmm.

Oh wait, my home civilsation is wiped out. Drat.
