Who Lives in the Keep?

I like to visit Goblin capitals and get exciting quests from their demon leaders. I've always wanted to do the same with humans. Do humans civilizations have one leader who leads the rest? Is he the guy who lives in the Mayor's House in the capital, or do I find him in the Keep? I have visited a lot of Keeps but never found anyone of noble ability. Where do I go to find exciting human quests such as assassination?

Try the preists they seem to know what thier doing,
And if all else fails you could wait for the Dwarf King to stop passing out.

I believe you still find quests from the Mayors in human towns. I don't know about dwarves, though.

Most human towns have at least 2 quest-givers.


The mayor can usually found in the building you start in; he tends to give you quests to slay dragons and whatnot. Since he's so easy to find, most people tend to look to Human towns for finding quests.

If the town has a temple (if I remember right, it's the building on the minimap with a big "T"), there'll be a High Priest somewhere; he can be found in the temple, but he also tends to wander a lot, good luck finding him. If that particular human civ is at war with somethingorother, he'll give you quests to kill a goblin (or whatever) leader.

I suppose if you're in the capital city, the King will also give you quests.


Quest-givers can also be found in Dwarven halls and Elven villages, but they're MUCH harder to find, since unlike as with human towns you don't start in their house and they could be anywhere.

Humans don't have kings, though in previous versions when they did, I believe the keep is where you could find them.
