= Find embark location
Find searches through all the parts even if it found something early. It would be nice to stop the search once found, and even nicer to remember all found locations and cycle through them.

Allow the local area to overlap 2 or 4 regions.
= Color Skills at embark
When defining skills at embark, {Not Miner} and {Miner} are different shade of gray. This is hard to see, specially when the cursor is on an active skill. It would be nice to have active skills some non-gray color. I don't know if color-coding the skills would be good though.
= Inactive selection color at embark
When defining skills at embark, there is no change to the unit list when going to the skill list. A similar problem is resolved in the stockpile settings by using a green background.
= Collapse skills at embark (Req 432?)
When defining skills at embark, it would be nice to have a mode where you only see the active skills, same as Zoom-Cre/Gen.
= Filter skills at embark
When defining skills at embark, it would be nice to have a mode where you can type the skill you are looking for.
= Precise stockpile name
When stockpiles are set to a single subclass, the name could reflect that. For instance, a {Food Stockpile} that only accepts seeds could be a {Seed Stockpile}.
= Stockpile nickname (Req421?)
For instance {Food Stockpile #3} could be nicknamed {'Seed' Food Stockpile #3}.
= Inactive selection color at stockpile settings
When drilling down the stockpile settings to {Refuse} {Item Type} {bones}, there is no highlight on the higher levels. It would be nice to have a light background color to mark {Refuse} and {Item Type}.
= Lavish meals at stockpile settings
You cannot limit to lavish meals. You could move {Prepared Food} to the second column and place {Easy} {Fine} {Lavish} under it.
= Look around vs view creature vs zoom creature
Look around should mention the <enter> to view creature. Moreover there's no way to zoom to {Gen} {Inv} {Pref} {Wnd} from either page. It would be nice to link zoom creature from view creature.
= Bad zoom creature
When zooming to a creature from the Unit screen, another creature is shown if it shares the same square and you have to press {Next} to get to your target.
= Designation Z-order
When designating stairs, you can only build 1 level at a time. It would be nice to drill a vertical shaft in a single select operation.
= Remember cursor position (Req386?)
When building beds repeatedly, the cursor stays at the last build position. if you exit the build menu, the cursor location is lost. This is problematic when switching between 'k', 'q' and 'b'.
= Autorepeat
Best autorepeat is fast with a slow start. Just skipping the first autorepeat pulse would be great.
= View seasons
In Farm Plot, you can only see 1 season at a time. It might be nice to see all 4, and have an "add job" like the workshop menu. Fertilize could be displayed like repeat/suspend.
= Filter trade items
When trading, the merchant offers pages of items. Moreover, you cannot see the item kind because the names are too long. It would be nice to type in 'bag' and only see the bags offered.
