one of my recruits went to get water at the river and apparently drowned, the only fishes in the river were pikes. where id the dwarf go? and can a pike actually kill a dwarf?

edit: nevermind i found his body, and anotherone whom fell to the pikes. I guess i need a way to get water  that doesn't have fishiness in it
