So, uh, I had a bit of a weird bug in my new game. Late into the second year, I get a message one of my dwarfs has died. He had been a strict food hauler, so I started  checking around the kitchen area. I looked around, and...well:





There was only one other dwarf near the butcher's, and when I looked him up:





They left all the dwarf-meaty bits to rot and didn't tan the skin. So, uh, any idea what's going on?

Normally I'd say you have a dwarf with a fell mood (in which the moody dwarf will kill another dwarf and make an artifact out of them), but none of the "products" of the dead dwarf are marked for tasks. So I don't know.

I'd guess so since dwarves are size 6 and there's only size 3 worth of parts.

I edited a bit of the [DOMESTIC] raw (cheaper cows), but I stayed out of [STANDARD] entirely.
Too many memories of trying to make stronger dwarves and them ending up with no lungs.

On further inspection, there's some dwarf meat in a stockpile barrel, but no one's eating it.
