It's the gopher from Caddyshack. And I agree, Bill Murray should've used magma, and then flood it to encase him in obsidian.

EDIT:
And then have someone carve a statue out of the encasement in the shape of a gopher. It'll come with a skeleton. Instant artifact.

Bill Murray has completed an artifact. All craftsmanship is of highest quality. It is an obsidian statue, encased inside are the bones of a gopher, it is studded with gopher bone, menaces with spikes of gopher bones and is encircled with gopher bones. On the item is an engraving of a gopher burning.

Sorry, but we really haven't interacted before now!  It's a blank slate - how can I lose anything from that?

True, but now that I think about it, it would have ended badly... very badly...
