Adventure mode bug - started in a pit when ambushed

So I was traveling on the world map, when I was ambushed by a pack of wolves.  On the local map, I started in a 1 z-level pit, i.e. surrounded by walls, with no slopes to get up.  The wolves were outside the pit.

I'm pretty sure it's not intended that this should happen.

I remember this one because I reported it.  It's really annoying but at least you can still 'T' your way out of there.
