Basically just a wishfull thinking thread this...
in theme similar to the numerous zombie mods, but with aliens and their parasitic reproductive methods as the main threat/defensive measure.

Just read a small novella based on the 'Alien' movies called "criminal enterprise", it focusses upon a drug cookery on a planentoid 'protected' by hordes of the deadly critters. Naturally their impenetrable defense turns against the moment they need it.
This reminded me alot of how some DF landlords employ wild beasts as a layer of defence against invaders.

In order for a SF mod to be realistic, it would be nice to be eventualy able to mod things such as caravans and migrantwaves into a single 'wagon' to simulate a landingcraft.
 
Also wouldn't know how to mod the gestation stage for aliens...have to wait for deseases to get a handle on that, hopefully scripts for effect of deseases and 'other' will be possible to be written by modders at some point.

goals:
-visitors will arrive by dropship.
-alien 'eggs' can be obtained from caravans or from HFS.
-aliens cannot be tamed. (or will break their training at a random point)
-if no queen is on-site, a random alien will be designated as queen and pupate to become an egglayer.

dunnae if its doable but sounds cool :P  next version it'd probally work due to the castes...
