Great fort! Lots of cool ideas implemented.  Your slum idea is pretty creative, it turned out well. So, if you collapse an unmined sand tile, it'll survive as sand where it lands?

Yep! As far as I can tell, when you cause a cavein, the floor where everything falls becomes the same type as whatever fell on it. If there's multiple layers falling, it will take whatever the highest thing is.

I've used a similar method to collapse a huge soil area underground, and then make a tree farm out of it.

 When I first saw the towers, I started to scroll up madly in fear you had created a fortress on towers suspended over a magma lake, as I had planned for a different time. I'm glad to know one of my dreams has not bee done before I had a chance for my own.
