Fey Moods

a small thing on the artifact creation process. Whenver an enspired dwarf stalls in the creation process, i'm never quite sure which particular component he's missing. I can see how requesting exact requirements would be a bit too easy but maybe if the particular missing item was highlighted it might make it easier to figure out.. and then create.

Failing that, even eliminating the prefetched items in the list would help to make it more clear.

I'm not sure what you're asking for since you can already target the dwarf and they'll tell you, however vaguely, what they need.

Would "drawing pictures of a mineshaft" be one of those?  If so what's it mean?  I've targeted insane dwaves/the workshop they claimed on occation, but I've never seen 'demands' for materials.

What kind of things do you find in mineshafts? Rock, usually? Maybe ore?

Seeing as I had all kinds of rock and ore and gems laying around  (that is, of every type I'd encountered thus far), that kind of hint doesn't help much.

If your dwarf is drawing a mine, then you'll likely need to find some of the rarer stone types (chalk, granite, marble, jet, etc)

This is the second type of the first fey mood; the dwarf will draw a picture of what he wants (in general) instead of telling you outright.

That, that might *scribbles*be*/scribbles* have been it.  I don't ever remember finding sand.  In any of my games.

To get sand you need:
- Glass Furnace
- Bags
- A few tiles at the cave riverside

And while you're doing that, at least make some green glass and clear glass, in raw and block form.  Maybe even have your gemcutter cut some of each, too, and keep a bit of each in stock.  They're fairly easy to get and will satisfy some moods.
