multiple colors

If you look at a hamster, it's probably white. However, there are brown hamsters, and yellow hamsters as well. So why not make it so monsters could randomly have various colors?

Dip Stick! The newest candy! Just dip it, then lick it!
Or try FUBAR! The best chocolate bar ever!
And you can't eat them, either, sadly. Even though it'd make sieges so much more fun; dwarves lining the walls, drooling and carrying sharp knives and forks, ready for the upcoming meals.

I'm pretty sure this is already in the new version.  At the very least, I know they can have different eye colors.

I'm fairly certain that variable fur and skin coloration is also coming in the next version, or if not, very very soon (relatively speaking).

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

One of the toads decided to go for a swim in the moat - presumably because he could path through the moat to my dwarves. He is not charging in, just loitering in the moat.

The toad is having a nice relaxing swim.
The goblin mounted on his back, however, is drowning.
