Well, no one has access to sand for trading because it isn't tradable.

However I support being able to see what stuff you'll be able to bring along/trade for with your parent civ.  It sucks to find out that you won't be able to get any bauxite after you've already found the perfect spot.  I mean you can just exit out, find the spot again, and pick a different civ, but it is a bit of a pain.

None of these suggestions will make it in the current version, because then it will no longer be the current version. Obviously, all of these suggestions are for future versions of the game. And who's to say sand won't be tradable in some future version of the game, however far-off it may be?

Slightly off-topic, I have a similar pet peeve when people attempt to suggest additions to the reaction system and someone shoots them down because the reaction system can't handle that sort of thing yet. >_>

Back on topic, I love this suggestion. It would be awesome to see which civ has bauxite before I actually embark.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

we need a indeep view of the embark civs
i.e. race,items,wars,rocks,food,crop and so on

example

the anvils of doom
are a dwarf civ
they are not at war with any other civs
they have steel items, all indoor crop but no out door crops,
animals are:dogs,cats,Horses,Muskox...

it rules the towns(or whatever) of X...

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.
