So there's this website called http://www.xtranormal.com.  Basically, you provide the words, and script some basic actions, and characters of your choice will act out a dialogue or monologue.  I think this is a great way to put some of the fantastic stories in the DF community into a different medium, video.

As an example, here is an excerpt from a succession fortress journal that I participated in, performed by a CGI character: http://www.xtranormal.com/watch?e=2009032908335897.  The fortress is called Kastarurvad, and this is from the journal of the 9th year.

Hey, cool. It looks as if it is possible to make the character express certain emotions, and gesticulate in various ways. The talking sounds a bit weird in certain areas though..
