Leather head veils
« on: March 23, 2009, 05:46:20 pm »

How in the world do you make leather head veils? Aren't you supposed to see through them?

The worst part? It's a dwarf leather head veil artifact made by a fell mood.

Well, head veils are stupid anyway, so one that prevents it's wearer from seeing isn't much of a stretch.

Make a temple to Armok, and give the priests the veils. Then they can be bad-ass blind priests.

Weird, I always thought of the veils like a Burqa, for some reason.  Covering the entire face except for the eyes.
Which, of course, brings up the question, how do you breathe through a leather Burqa?

Eye/Breathing slits?

Eye believe a leather veil is just something with i-holes that covers the face.

well, if its a veil, itll be perforated, so in theory, you should still be able to see outta it

id call it a bandana if it had eye-holes or anything.

Being an artifact, it'll probably be terribly comfortable.  Do you think every Dwarf will be wearing one in the future?

Bandanas go around your head, don't they?  Over the forehead, but not the eyes (or possibly around the neck/mouth)?

There are Face Veils.  I believe the Head Veils are more around the head, not covering the face?

While the Face Veils cover the face?

Either way, these Veils don't necessarily need to cover the eyes.  With a wrap around 'mask' like cloth across the face.

Yea, thats what I meant.

This would be the face veil, already ingame.  Could think of it as a face mask.

And yea, there are actual whole face masks in-game too...

I think the veils in game are more like this:

Basically, it made of really thin cloth/lace/silk thats nearly transparent, so you can see through it.
