Hm..
« on: March 21, 2009, 01:54:56 pm »

I was sifting through the personalities of the dwarves in my newest immigration wave. Amongst them was the new Dungeon Master.

I wish there was a way to usurp the king with another noble once he arrives. This guy likes some of the coolest stuff in the game, including obsidian, plate mail, and two-handed swords. Additionally he's confident, assertive, grounded in reality, likes tradition, and is compassionate.

DF generates the perfect would-be king just to mock me. :(

In my experience, most of the dungeon master's material preferences is fixed and will be the same with every DM.

Not sure about the creature preference and personalities, though.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

I too have had the DM who liked pixies for their giggles. the DM was a she, so I figured it was alright for this bad ass, dragon taming, forge working noble to like something cute. As for the likes, yes, most of the time they are all the same. Obsidian, the precious metals, plate mail, dragon bones, the precious gems, all those I have seen in all my DMs. Sometimes they have something different, like I had one who just LOVED black sand for some reason.

All that remains in to breach HFS and capture a Spirit of Fire with a metal cage trap/ collapse combo and put it in the Dungeon Masters room as a pet/trophy.
