Attack Vector - realistic space combat (board) game
« on: February 27, 2009, 10:03:31 pm »

The (absurdly devolved) realistic spaceflight discussion in another thread reminded me of this great game by Ad Astra:

its inspired by Vector 3, which was an old game from the 70s which has recently been released into the publc domain as a PDF.  but Attack Vector has a bit more polish and looks pretty sharp.

check out the vector movement and the ability to rotate ships in 3 dimension on the board.  it sounds like a lot of fun.

Then again, I consider Infinity to be overly ambitious, something that might easily spell it's downfall.
