The dragon;

An enormous statue of a dragon, constructed entirely from marble blocks. The tail dips into a magma pipe, and a series of pumps throughout the body of the dragon draw magma all the way up to the head. A steel bridge then functions as the lower jaw, and can be used to dump magma over anyone nearby.

I got 3/4's through building it, before an update came out and I changed over. I didn't think to save the fort, and have regretted it since.

This is still being tested.  We set lignite blocks on fire using magma, inside a metal bin.  They burn forever, and are crazy powerful at burning stuff.  Somebody test this.

Reports are that they don't burn forever, just a very, very long time. They will eventually first degrade and then vanish.

Sticking them in magma-proof iron bins just keeps the magma from destroying them... I think - I haven't thrown coal in magma befor, and my current fort doesn't have any.

all i know about is that it works with lignite and that at about half a year later it goes from undamaged to having x's and presumably later it will die. also it can make a square on the same level be read as warm from up to but possibly farther then 3 blocks though x levels may or may not carry this and that when thrown in an ocean it will evaporate the water and unpressurized water will never reach it nor will continual onslaught of water shorten the time it takes to burn to having x's.

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.
