Subject message says it all. I am not sure of Bay 12 Forums' stance on surveys, and I prefer to ask before posting one.

I guess the context would matter. If you're just doing a student project, plenty of people have done their surveys here. If you're like, attempting some data analytics for a personal project, that's probably also ok.

I'd say though if you have a financial motive or are requesting personal information from people responding, that would be a no go.

I'd say just post it. If people have a problem with, they'll report it. As long as your intentions are good, there's likely "no harm, no foul."

The survey does not request any personal information outside of basic demographics (age, gender and country of origin), nor is it made with a financial motive in mind so it should be acceptable. Which forum would be the most appopriate? Dissertation is about communication in MMORPG's.

General Discussion will get the most eyes on it. It's more relevant to the gaming forum. But I'd say General Discussion is your best bet.
