Hey, all!
Yet another tileset...

I based it on Klokjammer and Marble Dice tilesets. While modifying/tweaking symbols I took few from other sets, and sometimes recreated it from scratch.

Few things I had in mind while creating it:
- make font looks as much as good old curses_640x300,
- keep horizontal lines 1 pixel wide, while vertical ones 2-3 wide (for aesthetic purposes),
- make corners smooth, also avoid any jagged edges,
- try to keep details (like tails and hooks) organized and same in every letter
- keep space between characters even,
- ensure alphabet characters are on same level (eg. that "g" isn't placed too high),
- leave ASCII chars intact, so it's possible to recognize stuff from screenshots (yeah, sometimes).

Also I added some soft shading cause I like what have been done in Guybrush and other alike. But in case someone doesn't like such effect I'm also attaching (flat) set without it.

Hope you like it!

P.S. I wasn't sure where to put this topic, but "DF Modding" seems most appropriate.

I really like it. Nice font and soft shading helps a lot, thanks to it letters look like they are made of bakelite.

Reminds me pices of boardgame (not pictures, but material):

Maybe you might want to leave a pixel of space on each sided of the chairs/tables? Unless you were going for that long bench look on purpose...

No, I didn't do that on purpose. In matter of facts I never thought about it, cause it's made that way in default curses_640x300 set. But after your post I modified it, and IMHO it looks quite good that way.

Thanks for suggestion! And all suggestions and comments are of course welcome.

First post updated (page may need refreshing to see changes).

Another update (v1.1), I made walls 3px wide, also changed few other things.
