3rd Felsite
Work goes on as usual.
I think I will take a few days break from administrating.
(OOC: I missed a few days. Woops.)
10th felsite
The Exhibit hall is nearly finished. I regret to say that we will
not be able to provide authentic flora, and I suspect that after my
slaughtering frenzy Fauna are rather out of the case.
Perhaps I will "plant" logs in the ground. Yes, that will do.
Rather a master touch, I think.
11th felsite
Legendary miners are so useful.
Perhaps apart from the gigantinormous lumps of rock they leave when
they knock down a cave wall in one mighty blow.
*later that day.*
Oh no. Don't tell me that this just happened. Tell me this little
bit of purple and gilt paper is a fake.
Tell me we aren't a damn barony.
Oh crap.
Worse, this baron has a damn wife. Some haughty posh bird with
no chin and big teeth.
Limulegen needs them like I need shaving foam.
Even worse than that, We've got no rooms for them.
This might get awkward.
12th felsite
I have decided that my exhibit is more important than the nobles.
I have an overwhelming urge to lock 'em in with the goblins,
impossible as that may now be.
Slightly later
The immigrant wave is... rather large.
A population jump from 83 to 101 is quite significant, and I'm not sure
exactly what to do with it. I know I'll need to do a lot of labour
re-assignment, and the rest of the tedious business.
13th felsite
Some stragglers arrived, and we are now a county.
I can't be having this. I'm giving up the damn place at the end
of the month.
15th felsite
The room is nearly excavated, and the tax collector at least has a bedroom.
Received letter from Young Uncle Maggarg. He wanted the answers for
a pub quiz. We dwarves do not take them lightly.
16th felsite
I reckon I could persuade the count and countess to share a bedroom
by using that artifact armour stand.
19th felsite
The tax collector is almost fully housed now. I think he really needs a
bath in his room.
Hint hint.
21st felsite
The Count and Countess are still fairly happy, and don't seem
to mind waiting so much. Rather unusual in nobles.
22nd Felsite
The premature end draws near, and I must admit I rather enjoyed this
place. I shall have to leave the human exhibit to the imagination
of the next overseer, but the place isn't a ruin like halltraded was
when my aunt last wrote to me.
24th felsite
I am contacting the messengers as I write.
With any luck they shall be here by the start of next month.
I have decided not to contact the cartographers, as so little
has changed under my administration.
25th felsite
The tax collector is housed and happy. As with most taxmen, he is
not the most likable of fellows, but as they go, he isn't bad.
26th felsite
Ordered the manufacture of a few beds and a lot of bins.
A lot.
27th felsite
It appears that the Exhibit hall was longer than I thought
and we must adjust to these unforeseen circumstances.
1st haematite
The hall is still unfinished, but my term must end here.
I am passing on my official log to my successor.
(OOC: My turn for Abbeyverse just popped up and I can't really manage
both forts. Sorry)
save up soon.
