Would it be possible to select certain anouncements? like deaths births and item completion so its easier to find and focus on the item of intrest.

There was a discussion about this before.  I don't think there's any obstacle to it, and it can lead it be linked into other things like viewable combat logs and so on.  Another thing in floating around the idea pool.

I would just like to be able to turn some of them OFF. After a year or two, I no longer need, or WANT, to know when some animal gave birth. Or that the Trade Minister cant get to the latest prize possession because nobody is allowed outside.
