WHen building a fortress with areas under beaches, if the area under the beach is walled/doored off completely, then when you abandon, and approach in Adventure mode, those areas will now be filled 7-deep with ocean. note: they have NO inflow. Also note: The fort was under the beach, not under the actual ocean water, and long hallways that stretched off to the distance were not flooded, or even muddy.
