It seemed that the stairs could continue in their pattern like an upside down pyramid/cone thing and it could also be used to collect water from any rains or deposits and no matter how full or empty it gets they can use the stairs to get to it... but that could take alot of water...

Holy cow that water was so green it almost made me vomit making more green water.

That's algae. If people were actually using that for drinking water, I'd think they'd keep it clean.

I meant back when it was built for a purpose that could be like that. now its just a wonder that may only get respect here.
