Very simple. Give Adventure mode a way to find nearby announcements. Whenever I enter a map and something is happening (Dwarves fighting goblins, a guy passing out and dropping his *armor*, etc.) I can never find it because I don't know which direction the event is happening.

Being able to enter the announcement screen, press a button over a certain announcement, and have it pointed out to you on the N/NW/etc. radar would be very useful.

I absolutely would LOVE something like this.  It'd be especially good if we didn't even need to have to use the announcements screen to access this.  Perhaps if you couldn't see the source of the message, it would append a N/S/E/W marker of some kind to the end of the message.
