Thank you most profusely.

Also, that was quick. I reported the bug and it's fixed within ten minutes.

I happened to have my email open (and got the notification of the message), had VB already open, and it was literally a one-line fix :)

Well, it was supposed to be a one-line fix. Now I have to figure out what i'm doing wrong here.

New version now has full support for alpha-channel PNGs (it still has to make some tradeoffs with cleartype antialiased text - the result is optimized for black backgrounds but should look ok on any color combination)

anyone know where i can find a font that looks like this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
or this
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
which is like the original curses i guess... I've been hand changing them to fit in 12x12 but they start to look uneven and distorted its really annoying for a kind of ocd person like me. Or if that style has a name anyone know what it is?

That's a font like terminal or fixedsys (more like terminal really) - the problem is that most fonts like that will be like bitmap fonts - my tool doesn't support them and even if it could easily the results wouldn't really look better than using the existing tileset with TEXTURE_PARAM:LINEAR

Yeah, the closest font to that is Terminal.
