Is it possible to increase the 200 seed limit?

I'm working on a mod to change how farming works, and I'm wondering if it is possible to make it so I can have more than 200 seeds of a type; the limit is causing a problem!

I've never noticed any sort of limit on seed numbers. I've got a fortress with ~ 400-500 seeds of pickle berries, and nothing's complaining.

You can trade for more seeds, but you cannot get more from plants that are eaten or processed.
