Alright, I've searched for pyramids people have built and all I can say is that I'm a little disappointed.

This pyramid doesn't disappoint.

'tis mostly hollow.

 Not to diss Sappho. We want solid, manly pyramids. Remember kids, wear protection when entering pyramids.

Also, sieges turned off? Moods turned off? Dwarves set to speed 1? That's not dwarf fortress.

I hacked the raws to provide me with more sand at world generation, but otherwise I'm playing unmodded.  And my pyramid is solid, with limestone block facing (and will have bauxite stripes at the levels of my mausoleum and royal chambers, with a platinum block cap, with ruby windows onto the pyramid exterior in my royal chambers, and a ruby lining in my mausoleum).

So life intervened, and I've been puter-less for a week.  Back now tho. 

Doesn't look like I've missed anything on the pyramids front.  C'mon guys, get block pushing!

Once I get my fortess up and running I can build a 25z-level pyramid underground, and then pump the outside full of magma, plus I can build the ramps around it out of gold. ETA: 10-15 years depending on when I start it
