What exactly do those numbers mean?!?

So every time I look at the RSS dev feed ( http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/dev_now.html ) I see numbers like 942 and 936 and whatnot.  What do these numbers mean???  I assume they detail how close he is to completing a release?  or is it something else?
