I was playing just now and noticed that I suddenly got heaps of "dwarf blah blah has created a masterpiece!"
It was in the early stages of the game and as such I was surprised that this special dwarf had done it again. He'd created a masterpiece chair earlier. Now, I had just placed that chair erroneously where I didn't want it, so I removed the build order before it even was taken from the workshop. Multitude of masterpiece announcements spawned after that.
No other masterpiece had been created, and the dwarf in question was doing tables over at another workshop. Needless to say, I was getting spammed for no reason.

It's a minor bug, which probably nestles somewhere in the announcement system. I didn't find any earlier mention of it (perhaps because everyone else who saw it thought it was waay too small to write a topic about), but yeah. So yeah.

Edit: Of course not. I'm too nooby to realize I get those messages every time the silly buggers make a Masterpiece quality item. Which happens just about every other second now.
