Program icon for game
« on: December 29, 2008, 02:11:43 am »

It would be nice to have some default icon for game. I want to set picture on desktop link, but no icon found. May be organize a competition, choose best and suggest it to Today one?

There already is. It's the dwarf wearing the hat.

It's in the exe - though for me it's the letters "DF" not a picture of a dwarf.

I believe the icon was omitted from at least one of the 40d re-releases.

I've got the original 40d. Icon's big orangeish "DF".

Or you can always just make a short cut to the game, rename the short cut, change the icon, there you go.

You all know you can make your own icons, right? MSpaint-made bitmaps can be used via Properties -> Shortcut tab -> Change Icon. I believe GIMP can make .ico files as well.
