[40d] Moving goblin prisoners between cages.
« on: December 16, 2008, 03:54:14 am »

I read in the wiki that attempting to move certain creatures (presumably some of the more powerful/rare ones) between cages will only result in them getting loose. So I assume that moving normal POWs would still be possible however I note that while my mostly-useless nobles jump right to it when I want various large creatures moved between cages they'd however never touch the goblins.

I expected that if moving normal goblin soldiers between cages would also result in freeing them loose I would at least get a job interrupted message and a loose goblin for my guards to make mincemeat of but no one, even when I have a dwarf with nothing but animal hauling turned on, would even attempt to transfer these goblins. I was wondering if this is a feature or a bug? Or have I overlooked something?

edit: Maybe this should have been posted in the gameplay questions subforum, as now I'm less certain it's a bug.
