Muddled legends
« on: November 26, 2008, 10:18:31 am »

Over time, historical information gets lost or mixed up. Three different wars are mixed into one, people think the wrong person killed that dragon, etc. An adventurer might find evidence that disproves this view, and rulers could be toppled with the implications.

It'd be difficult to put in, but it does freak me out that they know the exact number of elves put to death in a no-name retreat during the war of betrayal in year two, even if most of the names have been redacted.
I don't know how you'd go about programming less accurate legends though.

Why? I would not find it entertaining.

Perhaps some people ARE that adventurous that they would like to run around the world looking for ancient scripts and asking people about stuff. I am not.

I'd just like to keep it handy and easy.
