Geeargh! Damn mods!
« on: November 24, 2008, 07:19:14 pm »

I'm very incompetent when it comes to computers, and so far I've managed to corrupt my fort save doing this.

I want this to work with this!

So someone plz help me before I break something else.

Save this[1] in DF/data/art/ as Unknown_curses_12x12.bmp.BMP (I think it's necessary, use IrfanView or anything else to convert image type).

Now go to DF/data/init/init.txt

lines:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
change to:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Voila. Grid values are from my own init.txt, but you can adjust them as you like. However these work for sure. It has really nothing to do with mods or saves, so no clean installation is required. Have fun (I hope).

if it has DOUBLE bmp it should have double bmp extension in the filename in the init.txt as well. However there's no real reason to call it .bmp.BMP and not .bmp. Just make sure it's 24 bit bmp.
