The rocky road project.
« on: November 16, 2008, 09:12:03 am »

People I need you! Please send in your modded creatures or Itmes or clothes or plants. I will create a short list in a week. and select several new items/creatures/plants/clothes for a heavily modded form of DF which will be posted onto the DFFD after i have put the shorlist into a Version of 40d. Gentlemen/ladies start your engines.

Rather than having them directly force you to mine adamantine, I would suggest that they give you strange moods that require adamantine. "Dig out the adamantine or Urist here goes insane and dies" is suitably vicious.

(It occurs to me that you can probably get "Lovecraft" as the random name of your fortress. That's when you know you're screwed.)

You do know raptors are very around the size of a turkey, right?

Not Utahraptors!  Utahraptors are pretty huge.  Well, around the size of the sort of raptors we usually think of, anyway.

Link to my crab-pack thread.  Not all of them are adequately playtested - I tried keep them within the general power of stock DF creatures, and their appearance numbers are in need of tweaking.  The Titan Crab in particular doesn't seem to want to show up.

I'll throw in other crap as I remember it and remake it.

I don't feel like giving out ALL of the creatures from my project, but if you insist:

Three creatures:

Body raws:

EDIT: fixed stupid formatting errors my text editor made that I never noticed. Also, due to some weird quirk of the board code, the first two letters in [liMB] and [liKES_FIGHTING] get decapitalized, so you might have to fix them after you copy/paste.

You might want to add [AMPHIBIOUS] to those elephants.
