DF needs full tileset support and 2580 pixel wide monitors badly, but both of those will take years.

(2580px wide = 32px wide tiles)
(32x32 is really the smallest size you can make good sprites at, according to some skilled sprite artists who play DF)

I'm still convinced that someone's got the old version of Armok stuffed away from a long time ago, with cities and all.

Stop saying this, we have been over it again and again, there were no cities just little rectangular places with a few more kobolds there, toady has said so.
