While I personally thought that FFXII was the worst game I played in my life.

I really liked FF VII. And Tactics (origional)

In the first tactics, Ivalice was pretty awesome, I think.

It was kind of fun to figure out how the Ivalice timeline worked for awhile. I'm pretty sure SE is gonna crap all over that now.

Near as I can tell, Tactics is last in chronology, with Vagrant Story happening not too long before it. The ruins and tech (airships and guns) you are digging up are from the ancient civilization of FFXII, which sometime after the game has a catastrophic event (presumably involving the Mist). FFTA is the real world where people slip into a fantasy version (lol) of the FFXII world.

No one cares. Derailing at 3am. Chrono Trigger was also a good game.
