FPS: 0?

So due to an experiment I'm running with massive quantities of axles, I decided to finally turn on my FPS counter.

However, it reads 0, but the game is running. Any tips?

Are you on a Mac?  The FPS counter doesn't work with Macs IIRC.

I'm on Windows and my FPS counter says 0 too!

My "coat the world in mud" plan had a rather dire affect on my FPS...  and I doubt the entire mountain full of mine shafts helped either.
