Best settings for 1024x768

Hi folks-

I play vanilla DF 40c and I set the 800x600 window size with the correct font size and it looks nice, but I would like to make the window bigger.  My desktop is 1024x768 so I was hoping to make gridsize and windodwsize work nicely but I'm having a bit of trouble making it look good.

Anybody have settings examples for 1000x750 window size or something similar?

I think there's a www application somewheres that does the calculations for you, but seriously, how hard can it be?

First off, what tileset dimensions do you want to use?

Divide 1024 by the number of pixels your tile dimension is wide.
Round down.
Repeat with 768 and the number of pixels tall.
You have your "optimal" settings.

The bigger you get, the laggier it gets, though.

1000 x 405 is a good window size for 1024x768
