human ambush- inside my trade depot!

so, i just had a single human crossbowman sping from ambush inside my trade depot... past the numerous weapon and stonefall traps. he seems to be alone, but the outer traps imply his goblin buddies didnt make it. im counting 12 named corpses from the stocks.

do humans have stealthy trap avoidance? ive seen em arrive with goblin ambushes before, but this guy went past the traps without a scratch. not that i mind seeing the elven trade caravan torn apart.... huh, fleeing elves just triggered a second ambush.

i know ive had humans die in my traps before, and im thinking this guy may be a ranger. anyone know how this guy could bypass a minimum of seven traps without setting them off?

if his goblin buddies punched a big enough hole, then he might have gotten absurdly lucky and survived the traps unharmed. or he might technically have been a thief, and thus possessed [trAP_AVOID]

hmm, i finaly killed him and his human buddy both with one weapon trap. had to lure em towards another door for it, and they passed several loaded stonefall traps without triggering them.

so, he wasnt trap-avoid, but he and the other human ignored the external traps. and i watched em walk back and forth over several of those traps (mostly wooden spiked balls- they died on a -giant steel axe blade-). the trap that killed em was lower qualithy mechanism than some of the traps avoided... its the loaded stone traps that puzzle me the most in tehir failure to work.

Are these humans from a human civ or a goblin civ?  I've heard tell that, at least in the days of old, human attackers would be immune to traps that their liaison had seen.

Humans avoid any trap that any human has seen in construction.

Thus, if the human liason/traders passed those traps while they were being built, he knew to avoid them.

I dunno why they told a goblin slavechild, but hey.

goblins. humans are leading the squads- found a 3rd guy who bled out a ways from the traps. he didnt show any special immunity... could be a bug with the first two? cant think of anything else that fits.

and if the liasons to blame, them im very happy i have two seperate entrances.. time for some new traps now.
