Remove Abandoned Fortress
« on: October 07, 2008, 04:51:12 pm »

High I have this perfect spot to build a fortress, unfortunetly I've already built there in the past but I'd like to try something different this time around and I was wondering if there was any way to remove the fortress leaving the area pristine. I don't want to reclaim it.

Also, is there a way to retreive the info that way used to create the world, if I can't remove the fortress I'd like to just remake the world.

Yes I've tried generating new worlds and finding similar locations but after a week its just not happening, my old location has a huge canyon with a rive at the bottom, no access to it except by stairs, a magma pipe right behind that and across the canyon through a mountain is a nice level wooded area.

Go to options [esc] there is an option called 'export local image' this will export images of the whole map as well as text files with all the relevant worldgen details in them. The file you want starts with[fortressname]-param-region[region number].

Regenerating is the only way to remove the fortress

Now if there was a way to export coordinates so you could find the same embarkation point...
