[40d] No wild animals?

Yeah, I've been playing this one fort for a while, and wild animals aren't spawning anymore. I thought at first I had too many caged animals because they were breeding like crazy, but I slaughtered a good lot of them and wild animals still won't spawn. Any help?

Yeah, you're out of luck here. The best solution is breeding animals and then slaughtering them. Especially kittens.
