Well, I finally destroyed it.

I dug a 2 tile path for the magma to go into my dining hall (I locked the doors) and about 60 dwarves burned right there. I also threw some booze down there to create explosions. (I did record this but I can't upload it to the DF map archive because it's 2 MBs)

Then I let the cats from the cat room loose and threw them into a hole which I released magma into, then I got a migrant wave and made the new meeting area on the front bridge so I could drop them into magma.

Now I just abandoned it, and I'm going in as an adventurer.

Well, I went to your meeting area and set the Orders to RAPE THE MOUNTAIN and told everybody there to mine. I also set you magma forge to produce a bunch of iron picks.

By "a bunch" I mean:
