You see, douchebags like you just take a small portion of a post, twist it out of context, and make the original person seem like an idiot.

Someone should make them breed like rabbits, then run a world gen.

I hope toady makes default megabeasts better at some point, ive had to heavily mod them for them to be as ferocious as they should be.

Actually the problem is the combat system itself. I've modified megabeasts, they had SIZE:60 and better damblock, and I've witnessed as a single mediocre dwarf managed to kill that modded dragon alone.  ::)
I am not sure how could this be balanced right now. SIZE:200 perhaps? "Lucky shots" can happen even in that case I guess.

You can probably allow non-absurd Megabeast breeding during worldgen by giving them really long gestation and development times. Like, 20 years from conception to birth, and 50 years from baby to adult.

Of course, that's if you don't want them to conquer the world.
