I never seem to get any tropical areas - I want them for elephants. What sort of worldgen parameters will give me more tropic forests and shrublands?

Also, will the area being evil make there be no elephants, or will they be skelephants?

I've never generated a normal sized world without a tropical area. Are you genning small worlds? I haven't played around with the new world gen tools, but tropical areas are warm and wet, so whatever modifiers change those should help.

Yes, it's possible to run into skeletal and zombie elephants ;)

You can always try making a large world instead of a medium. Those tend to get a much larger variety of biomes.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
