A way to edit dwarven personalities?
« on: September 26, 2008, 11:50:01 am »

I've recently come across a whole ton of dragons. (don't ask)

I'm thinking of either taming them and giving them to my mayor, or just dropping them in a special 'dragon reserve' underground where they can live, breed, and serve as a fun place to throw goblins into.

Of course, unless I mod in war dragons, there's not a way for me to actually guarentee that my mayor will adopt them- unless, of course, he likes dragons.

Of course, seeing as how that's a very rare thing to like for a dwarf, none of my dwarves actually do like dragons. Is there a utility out there that would let me edit personalities, or will I just have to throw them all into a pit?

You should dig out like, half or a z-level, mod in war dragons, and leave them down there. Make a pit that leads to the level and drop goblins in.

Or, you can have a dragon farm if they'll breed. Dragon body parts are really valuable, as is their sweet, delicious milk.

Not if they're reptiles, no.

Actually, as far as I know, you can't actually milk anything yet. You can squeeze the juices out of some kind of super rare maggot thing, but that's it.

You can only milk vermin, yes, but as Indy just said, the trader will carry all of the possible milk and cheese types.

Couldn't you do the pit thing without making them War Dragons or would the dragons and gobbos team up if they're not tamed?
