It hasn't been fixed in 40d according to devlog, so I might as well submit this.

I have a fortress with a water area in it, and I have one section similar to this:

The W is both 6/7 water and an -open- hatch cover.  Basically, it's meant to be drained out via the grate and a pump (not shown).  I've turned it all off because it's broken (also no shown), but the spare water isn't coming up the grate that gravity dictates it should come up - here's a basic side view:

the underscore is the grate, and the equal signs are 6/7 water over pressure plates.

So yeah, from what I can see, the dwarves standing on top of that grate mining out some other walls should be a lot more wet than they are...

I haven't seen this exactly, but I have seen magma not flow up a ramp properly.  When I saw it I had pumps next to the ramps.  They refused to pump and the flow did not put the magma up on the same level as the pumps.  I closed floodgates in the flow and removed the pumps.  When I opened the floodgates the flow properly went up.

I am guessing that the static flag for a flow/pool interferes with the teleportation.  Adjusting floodgates within the flow caused it to check all the static flags and that is how it noticed it could move up.

I haven't seen this exactly, but I have seen magma not flow up a ramp properly.

Magma doesn't flow up.  At all.

It's been a while, but I think Miasma will also not flow upwards through grates.
