This is cool: Viewing dwarves in military view; how you can see their skills.

When you press (m) for Military, you can up/down arrow and scroll through your whole posse of dwarves; while doing this, you can see the highlighed dwarf's skill's by pressing (c).

Uh... Doesn't that zoom to them? This is nothing new but thanks for trying to be helpful.

Yeah - I'm a tard sometimes.  However dudes, man - I overlooked that for so long (and it was such an inconvenience to me), I wanted to put it to writing with hopes it'd help others.

I knew that you could from the (u)nit list, but I never noticed that hotkey worked in the military screen as well.  Thanks!

Unfortunately, that kicks you out of the military view entirely. You just zoom to the dwarf. To look at the next dwarf, you need to get back in the military (or unit) view and manually scroll to that one.

It would really be nice if we could see this stuff without leaving the military or unit screens - and without losing our current place in the list. But I suppose that will come someday.
