PC Arcade!

I just bought a wired 360 controller to use on my PC. I like it. It's fun.

I'm looking for arcade style games to use it on. Right now I have a Geometry Wars knockoff and Cave Story. Any recommendations?
No ROMS or emulators.

No one's going to care if you're not paying for old console/arcade games that are no longer in production. There isn't even a moral issue, as you're not stealing a game if the only other way to get it is through Ebay.

Honestly, nothing will happen if you use ROMs. All those game companies just don't care. Nintendo has bigger problems than some pale skinny guys pirating their old games that aren't even on the market legally any more.

I mean, seriously; nothing bad will happen. Hell, I sent Nintendo a personal letter about a week ago telling them how I used and distributed ROMs, and they just ignored it. It isn't like they're going to crash through my ceiling an-

Actually, Nintendo have starting distributing old games through the Wii's online function.  I used to play old SNES games comfortable in my justification that Nintendo didn't make them any more so no-one was losing out.  I've had to reassess that; I may well just wait until I can get a Wii.

With one single exception, because it was never released in English.

Hard-as-hell game that is a cross between Castlevania, The Legend of Zelda, Solomon's Key, and Montezuma's Revenge.

Iji
Side-scrolling shooter with crazy guns and enemies.

Tyrian 2000
Awesome vertical shooter with multiplayer.

Spheres of Chaos
A Asteroids-like game with graphics that are so insane you start to experience drugs without the drugs.
