The human diplomat walked into an all-out goblin siege, and lasted as long as you'd expect.  This annoyed the humans, so they came for revenge against my fortress.  However, they seemed to know that this was a dumb idea, because they just hung out at the edge of the map for a few weeks instead of actually attacking.  This forced me to send my army over there to scare them away.  In so doing, Kadol Zuglarenam Oshot Torir, Elite Marksdwarf and prolific mother, was slain, and her beloved baby Momuz was severely injured.

As we all know, babies are meant to fend for themselves if their mother cannot provide for them.  Therefore, baby Momuz crawled home.  With a mangled arm and lower body.  Over a high peak and down some small cliffs.  3 minimap tiles from the edge of the lands to the fortress proper.

To much rejoicement, Momuz made it home after only three months!  And promptly jumped into the lava river.
